Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife Ruth, his children and their partners Joanne and Allan, Katherine and Tony, Cassandra, Matt and Emily, and six much loved grandchildren.

John was known for his persistent and determined work ethic and his humble generosity. He was an avid reader and collector of books and he loved his cats.
