The opportunity to share refreshments after a funeral service provides families and friends with the chance to reflect, share stories and recall in greater detail the life of the deceased person. Legacy Funerals can help you make decisions regarding catering choices and at both our venues (Woodhill and Tauranga Park) we have full kitchen facilities and dedicated indoor and outdoor areas to chat and reminisce.

Bereavement Support

Grief can manifest itself in a number of ways including nausea, energy loss and tiredness, headache and blurred vision, a loss of appetite, tenseness, restlessness and an increased consumption of alcohol, cigarettes or overeating. Be gentle with yourself, and remember that while there is no set finish line, the pain will eventually ease. To assist you and as part of our extended service, we can offer you a grief counsellor who can provide support and assistance after the funeral service.
